torching again

It's been a while since my last torching.
But I've torched yesterday
instead of taking photos as I've planned to.
So I tried to take photos today - no luck.
The sun has only shown up for a few minutes
(to do the sun dance with me being on the FP :-)).
Lesson to learn:
take photos as long as sun comes out!!

But then I've got the idea to take a mirror
to duplicate the poor daylight.
I should have realized this earlier -
my diploma thesis was about radiosity rendering!!
I guess, I've flushed that after 13 years *sigh*
However.. I got a better light
- not good enough, but better,
that I could list smoky sunday.

what a weekend!

On Friday I've joined the VirtualLabs again.
Again, they told us amongst others to join
street teams and indie community.
I've joined indiepublic the other day.
So now, I've joined the European Street Team (EST)
and also We Love Etsy.
I really enjoy EST - they're a happy, chatty folk,
but I need more time to discover the two communities.
I feel like I'm running out of time!!

On Saturday I've found my items in 3 different treasury lists.
This morning while I was reading and writing in the forum,
I was told that red velvet was on the front page
- my very first front page!!
I'm really thankful. Thank you, EtsyLabs!
It didn't bring me a sale, but many hearts and views.
I didn't know before,
why all the people are SO thrilled being on the frontpage.
Now I know and I AM thrilled about it too :-))
The view has gone up just like a rocket
- from under 50 to over 400 just for that item!!!
And it affects also the other items too -
so how cool is that?!!
